Dr. Louise Wheeler is an assistant clinical professor and assistant director of diversity and inclusion at the BYU Counseling and Psychological Services. Louise was born and raised in France where she also completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She obtained a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at BYU in 2017. Louise’s clinical and academic work focus on trauma, gender, and race. She teaches a multicultural counseling course to graduate students and has also recently taught group psychotherapy and women’s issues in career exploration courses.
