Elray Henriksen on D&C 12-17 and JS History 1:66-75
Elray Henriksen grew up in an LDS family in Norway and Switzerland, and served as a sergeant in the Norwegian Air Force before doing an undergraduate degree in Peace and Development Studies focused on religious peacebuilding at Bradford University in the UK. He then completed a master’s degree in 2007 in Peace Operations at George Mason University in Washington D.C., USA, where he met his husband. He then worked for the United Nations in Burundi and for Norwegian Church Aid in Norway for before moving to Brussels, Belgium, where he completed another master’s in European Communications. Ordained a Seventy in Community of Christ in 2018, he currently works as a full-time church volunteer. He has co-founded a local support organisation called Co-citizens and chairs the European Peace and Justice Team for Community of Christ in Europe.
