Lori Thompson Forsyth has had a long and somewhat random history with the publishing industry. She was a typesetter at the Harvard Crimson during college and did occasional paste-up for Exponent II back when it actually involved pasting text onto a board. She’s written in various places, most recently for Wayfare Magazine, and has edited in a variety of settings, including at BYU’s Maxwell Institute, at BCC Press, where she is editorial director, and at Wayfare Magazine, where she is managing editor. Beginning in 2014 she wrote quite a bit about living in Spain, before the pandemic put an end to that adventure. Lori and her husband Jon have five kids, three kids-in-law, and three grandkids, with number four eagerly expected this summer.
