2024 Annual Appeal
December 3, 2024
I am very proud of the excellent content we have published in this last year. In 2024, we published two roundtables on racism. We published numerous groundbreaking articles on the Book of Mormon. The forthcoming Winter 2024 issue focuses on “The Family in Latter-day Saint Culture and Thought.”
We continue to evolve. Last year, we debuted a completely new website at dialoguejournal.com. This year, we continued to refine this project with Author Pages 2.0. Building on the earlier feature that allowed readers to click on the name of an author and find everything they contributed to Dialogue over the years, we have added more content and features including podcasts and blog posts. We are also incredibly excited to have launched the Dialogue Art Gallery, where you can browse all the art we have published in nearly 60 years with artist info.
In addition to the journal, we continue to offer so much other great podcast and YouTube content. The Dialogue Sunday Gospel Study features a diverse range of expert teachers. Also, check out the beautifully produced podcasts in the Dialogue Out Loud series—hopefully you didn’t miss the wonderful interview with Cornell West this spring. And keep up on the latest fiction and non-fiction books, including exclusive in-depth interviews on the Dialogue Book Report podcast.
The Dialogue Book Club continues to grow, with exclusive benefits and access for subscribers. We have exciting new picks for next year, featuring the best scholars and writers publishing right now. Members get to meet with the authors and hear behind the scenes stories.
A few years ago, Dialogue made the momentous decision to make all of our print and podcast content completely free online, with no paywall barrier. Subscriptions to the print edition alone do not cover the costs to sustain the journal, let alone our other ambitious offerings. We rely on donations to pay our bills. Your contributions keep us going.
Dialogue has meant so much to me over the years, and I am honored to contribute to its storied legacy. Your support makes this possible. Thank you for your generosity to Latter-day Saint thought and culture.
