Linda Thatcher
LINDA THATCHER has a B.S. and M.Ed, from Utah State University and an M.L.S. from Brigham Young University. She has served as president of the Utah Women's History Association and was book review editor for DIALOGUE for eight years. She has worked for the Utah State Historical Society for sixteen years where she is presently the coordinator of Collections Management. A version of this essay was presented at the 1987 Mormon History Association meeting in Oxford, England.
