ACH HUTCHINS {[email protected]} teaches courses in American literature and culture at Colorado State University. He is the author of Inventing Eden: Primitivism, Millennialism, and the Making of New England, a prehistory of the edenic impulse in Mormon theology and culture, as well as several essays on the influence of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on nineteenth-century literature.
