Amy Watkins Jensen is a teacher and writer with a BA in Spanish Teaching and an MA in Spanish Literature from the University of Utah. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she teaches humanities at an all-boys school for the arts.

Amy is passionate about amplifying the voices of Latter-day Saints who advocate for partnership and inclusion for women in the Church. On Instagram (@womenonthestand) and her Substack, Women on the Stand, she highlights and shares the perspectives, stories, and insights of others alongside her own reflections.

She lives with her husband Andy, their youngest daughter, and their dog, Monchi, and eagerly anticipates visits from their two older daughters, who are away at college.
