Creating safe, sacred spaces through the lessons of Alma: Gospel Study with Candice and Dennis Wendt

July 15, 2024

Join us for our special 2-fer episode with Candice and Dennis Wendt for our only Gospel Study this July.

Candice Wendt works at McGill University’s Office of Religious and Spiritual Life, where she works to support students in their spiritual lives and to build interfaith community. She is a contributing editor at Wayfare, and has also recently written for At Last She Said it and Exponent II. She holds a master’s in comparative humanities studies from BYU.

Her husband, Dennis Wendt, is an associate professor at McGill University, where he specializes in the intersection of culture and mental health. He currently teaches a Sunday School class for new members of their rapidly growing international urban ward. Dennis and Candice are raising two strong-minded teens who attend school in French in downtown Montreal. This section of Alma happens to be their favorite part of the Book of Mormon.
