Nathan Oman is the Rollins Professor at William & Mary Law School. In addition to work in the philosophy of private law, he has published articles on law and Mormonism in Dialogue, BYU Studies, Journal of Mormon History, and various law journals. Within the Church he has served in bishoprics, young men’s presidencies, and as a regional public affairs director. He has never, however, been a Sunday school teacher. He lives in Williamsburg, Virginia where he enjoys fishing unsuccessfully, running slowly, and playing the banjo badly.
